Daisy in Longmont, CO

Pick a daisy from your garden and gently pull off the petals one by one – she loves me, she loves me not, she loves me… Well, with this Daisy, there is no question of love! She loves me, she will love you and she loves everyone she meets… but you will always be her special someone!

This adorable little cutie was released into foster due to life changes. To keep her happy and thriving, the difficult decision was made to give her a new beginning with a new family. Daisy is a beautiful, spayed five-year-old Blenheim girl. She was born on February 17, 2020.

Let’s get to know Daisy! First of all, Daisy loves to be with you. Second of all, Daisy loves to hang out with you! Third on her list is Daisy will be your best friend and constant companion! You can see the love continuing all day long in her sparkling brown eyes and happy grins. She loves to play with her stuffed toys and will bring them to you for some play time. When you ask sweet Daisy to “Go get your toy!” she will happily go choose her favorite toy and bring it to you. Her tail has four speeds: expectation, anticipation, exaltation and turbo charged wiggle butt. Daisy looks forward to every walk knowing that a wonderful adventure awaits. Daisy is a very social girl but you will be her best friend.

After a busy day, when the lights go out for bed time or even a bit of napping, you will certainly feel her presence – or a better way to put it is you will hear her presence – Daisy snores…LOUDLY really LOUDLY. It’s an art form with her! We looked up loud snoring dog videos online and Daisy definitely has them all beat! Her foster mom truly believes that the louder the snore, the happier and more contented Daisy is – and WOW, she is one happy little girl!

Daisy will need a family where her person is able to with her much of the time either at home or at a dog friendly work situation. She is truly a companion. Our day of togetherness begins early. It’s up with the sun, belly rubs and kisses, out for a potty break, then breakfast with her two Cavalier siblings. We take a morning walk, check out the neighborhood then it’s back home to see what fun the day will bring.  Daisy especially likes her evening walks as it gives her ample opportunity to share her cuteness and love with all the neighbors – who, by the way, all think she is a little sweetheart!

While in foster care, Daisy had a wellness check and passed with flying colors. Her weight is perfect at a very solid 20 pounds. Her teeth and gums are in good condition. Daisy is negative for heartworms, is up to date on her vaccinations and is microchipped. The best news is that no heart murmur was heard by the general vet doing her intake exam. The only issue was infected ears and she is on medication to clear that up. Daisy is a healthy, beautiful little dog!

Daisy transitioned into her foster home very quickly. She immediately became best friends with her foster siblings (two Cavaliers and three kitty cats). She only barks when there is something to bark at. When she is ready to come in after exploring the backyard, she will softly bark to tell you it’s time to come in

Daisy politely sits while her harness is put on for walks or adventures. She can pull a bit while taking a walk or having an outing because there is always something ahead of her that needs to be investigated. Daisy loves people, loves people, loves people! She is great around other dogs. Her potty manners are perfect. She rides in the car perfectly. Her foster mom thinks she is the most perfect, sweet, loving, little dog ever… even her super LOUD snoring is adorable!
