Landon in Frederick, MD

Puppy alert! Meet Landon, a sweet 4-month-old male Cavalier Poodle mix. He is very playful, happy, and loving. He quickly becomes friends with everyone he meets. He rarely barks unless he’s startled. Landon is enjoying time with his foster parents and has bonded quickly with them. He also is extremely happy to be part of a pack with two other resident King Charles Cavaliers. He enjoys toys, playing fetch, and loves to go outside, but he is still learning how to walk on a leash.

Landon was rescued from a commercial breeding situation, so we don’t know a lot about his background. He is a bit timid and cautious about anything unfamiliar but has become much more confident with each passing day. One good example is that he quickly learned how to go up and down stairs!

A loving family who understands the commitment and time needed to care for and train a puppy would be an ideal fit for this active pup; he might enjoy another sweet and agreeable resident pup but that’s not essential.

Weighing in at about 11 pounds, 4 ounces of fluffy black and white fur, Landon is still mastering house training but he’s doing well. He is very healthy and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. He rides nicely in the car. At nighttime, he sleeps quietly in a crate.
