Molly in Broken Arrow, OK

Here is Molly with her new mom…

Molly came to rescue after being found in Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she had clearly been through a lot. This brave little Cavalier was discovered covered in fleas, battling whipworms and roundworms, and showing signs of having been used for breeding. Her first week in rescue was all about recovery. She mostly slept, barely ate, and seemed to finally be resting for the first time in a long while.

Since then, Molly has made gentle, heartwarming progress. She’s been spayed and treated for parasites. She’s had soothing baths, nutritious meals, and lots of love to help her body and infection recover. She’s not yet leash trained but is beginning to explore short walks. Most of all, Molly loves to be held and snuggled. She’s a little “Velcro pup” who wants to stay as close to her human as possible, preferably nestled against your hip where she’ll happily nap and snore for hours.

Molly has been left crated for short periods—around two hours—and does well, though she thrives when she’s near her people. She’s mostly house trained, but since it’s been cold and rainy, she’s had a few accidents as she learns the new routine. Patience, love, and consistency will help her master it quickly.

This sweet, soulful girl has clearly known some trauma, but she meets every day with more trust and curiosity. She loves soft blankets, gentle voices, and any opportunity for affection. Molly would do best in a calm home with someone who’s around much of the time to give her the comfort and companionship she craves. She’s ready to trade her difficult past for a life full of warmth, care, and snuggles.
