What’s better than diamonds? Why Rubies of course! Meet Ripto and Sparx, the Dynamic Duo! They are a devoted pair of brothers whose bond is as special as their individual personalities. Born June 28, 2019, they are the perfect blend of play and serenity. While they are inseparable littermates, they each bring a unique flavor to the family.

Ripto is the pair’s “forever puppy.” Confident and curious, he’s a natural leader who loves exploring the world on brisk walks. Sparx, meanwhile, is a professional couch connoisseur. With his adorable blocky head and mellow soul, he’s happiest curled up in a cozy spot, or snoring under the covers in a bed.

These house-trained gentlemen are the ultimate “velcro dogs.” They’ll greet you with joyful enthusiasm at the door and spend the rest of the evening vying for a spot in your lap. They are well-behaved when left alone, crate-trained, and share a sophisticated palate for apple and banana treats. If you’re looking for a double dose of loyalty and a lifetime of snuggles, Ripto and Sparx are your guys.

Ripto and Sparx are looking for a wonderful family to call their own. They came to Cavalier Rescue USA due to a change in their family’s circumstances and are ready to share their love again.

Both boys are recently neutered, vaccinated, and up-to-date on flea protection and core vaccinations.

• Sparx: Recently had a dental and is doing great. He requires a regular vet check for his anal glands every 4-6 months, which is a simple, routine management item. His weight is 20 lbs.
• Ripto: A recent cardio exam revealed a mild valvular pulmonic stenosis (a congenital heart defect). The great news is that he has no fluid, no evidence of heart failure, and is acting completely normal. He just needs a dedicated adopter willing to keep up with routine cardiac monitoring. Ripto weighs in at 18 lbs.

Ripto and Sparx would do best in a calm home with older children or no children, and access to outdoor space for their daily walks and fresh air. Their ideal home is one filled with warmth, routine, and plenty of opportunities for snuggles. They are the sweetest pair and will most definitely take advantage of cuddle time after a long day.
