Here is Megan with her new family…

Meet Megan, a four-and-a-half year-old and healthy female Cavalier.

Megan has an endless amount of love to give and will be your BFF.

She likes to gaze into your eyes when she’s getting to know you.

Megan will be your shadow.

She follows her foster Mom EVERYWHERE she goes around the house.

Megan came from a farm in Lancaster County and was used for breeding.

Since coming into rescue she was spayed, microchipped and brought up to date on shots.

The vet said Megan has good eyes, good ears, good teeth and no heart murmur.

She is on the heavier side, however, and it would be good for her to lose a couple of pounds.

Megan gets along well with her foster family which includes another female Cavalier.

She likes to take walks on a leash and likes to ride in the car. She seems to enjoy being brushed and sits very still during brushings.

Megan is pretty much house trained. She goes out first thing in the morning and  last thing at night.

She is very smart and learned the doggie door quickly just by watching her foster sister.

Megan is used to a fenced yard and has lots of energy.

Megan sleeps in a crate at night.

When she hears the words “time to go to bed” she jumps happily into her crate. She knows she will get a few treats before going to sleep.

Megan always likes to keep her humans in sight, so she will need a home where someone is present most of the time.

Some training classes to help with socialization and confidence would be good for her as well.
