Meet Poppy, an adorable Cavapoo puppy born on 2/25/26, who looks like the world’s cutest sentient cotton ball. With her fluffy coat, sparkling eyes, and endlessly happy personality, Poppy has a way of making everyone around her smile.

Poppy came into rescue with her mother when she was only a couple of days old after they were given  to Cavalier Rescue USA by a commercial breeder. Thankfully, Poppy has never known the harsh reality of that life. Instead, she has been raised surrounded by love, safety, and care, allowing her sweet and confident personality to shine from the very beginning.

Like any young puppy, Poppy is full of joyful energy and curiosity. She loves exploring her world, bouncing around with toys, and finding creative ways to entertain herself — including enthusiastically tugging on shoelaces whenever the opportunity presents itself. She adores people and approaches life with the belief that every stranger is simply a future best friend waiting to happen. Whether she is cuddled in your lap, following you from room to room, or happily playing with another dog, Poppy’s affectionate nature is impossible to resist.

Poppy would do wonderfully in a home with a gentle smaller dog or a calm dog who understands her tiny size and can help show her the ropes, though she does not require a canine companion. She would also do well with older, respectful children who understand how to carefully handle a small puppy. Like many puppies, Poppy has discovered her voice and can be quite the little barker when she is excited or wants attention, so an apartment or shared-wall living environment would likely not be the best fit for her. Because she is still so young, her future family should be prepared for all the time, patience, and consistency that come along with raising a puppy.

What makes Poppy especially lovable is her happy spirit. Despite her difficult beginning, she greets life with complete trust, excitement, and affection. She is the kind of puppy who will happily curl up in your lap after playtime and remind you daily just how joyful life can be.

Poppy is ready to grow up surrounded by love, cuddles, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. In return, she promises endless puppy kisses, laughter, and unconditional love.

Because of Poppy’s young age, she has not yet been spayed. Her adoptive family will be required to sign and comply with Cavalier Rescue USA’s spay agreement. Poppy must be spayed at approximately nine months of age, or when deemed medically appropriate by the rescue and veterinarian. Proof of the procedure will be required within ten days of completion.
