Simba in Cotati, CA

Meet Simba, a two year old Ruby who is 13 lbs of sweetness. Simba is a breeder release and is looking for his forever home where he will be nurtured and loved.

Simba will do best with a canine companion. He loves to cuddle with people and other dogs. He follows his human and canine pack everywhere. He really likes to play with other dogs. He will follow their lead even for things he doesn’t understand such as where to potty and taking walks. He is easily trainable. He likes puffy treats, but otherwise is picky about treats. Simba is shy, but very agile with lots of energy. Nonetheless, he is happy being held in your arms or on your lap.

Simba has been checked by the vet and has been given a clean bill of health. He had a dental with three teeth removed. He will need to regularly have his teeth brushed.

Initially he had marking issues, but that is decreasing. It may be anxiety related. Otherwise he is mostly good about going outside but needs some work.

This sweet pup is a bit nervous. He shakes and cries in the car or new situations, but he improves as he adjusts. Simba is getting much better at being in the crate especially at night. He does not like being left alone.

He will bark at new people and even at his foster parents when they have been somewhere and come back in the room.

Simba needs a home with people who will be patient as he grows into the perfect dog he is meant to be. He has loads of love to give and great potential.
