Rosey in Lusby, MD

Hello everyone!  My name is Rosey and I am looking for my forever home.  I am a 5-year-old Cavalier Poodle mix that was surrendered by my previous owner after retiring from being used for breeding.  

All I want is to share my love with my people. I enjoy cuddling on the couch with my foster parents and making sure they know I want to be near them. I am friendly with everyone and cannot be considered a watch dog since I do not bark or whine. I make my wishes known by shaking my head and making my collar rattle. 

My Cavalier foster brother and sister have taught me many new things in my foster home. I like other dogs, but ideally, I’d like to be the only one in my new home. I love my toys and really do not like to share these (since I didn’t have too many to call my own at my previous owner’s home). I have not been around cats. I take my time eating my meals. I am sometimes picky and want to make sure you have prepared it just right.

I am fine going on a walk but reserve doing my business for the yard when I am not required to be on a leash. For that reason, a physically fenced is needed for me. I also am very interested in squirrels and deer so there is a risk of trying to chase them. I am crate trained and put myself to bed at night.

My vet told me that I am healthy girl! I am up-to-date on my core vaccines and have recently been spayed and received heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Also, I’m microchipped.
