Hi! I’m Chance! 

I’m about 2 years old, I’m a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and I’m currently accepting applications for my forever snuggle person. 

I didn’t have the best start in life. When I came into rescue, my beautiful Cavalier ears were severely matted, and apparently no one had explained to me that plastic toys are not part of a balanced diet. Thankfully, those days are behind me!

I’m a bigger boy at 24 pounds, but before you start whispering about my weight, I’d like you to know that I am perfectly proportioned and at an ideal weight for my size. Thank you very much. 

Right now, I’m living with four other Cavaliers in my foster home in Red Rock, AZ. Three of them are seniors, and while I love them, they don’t always appreciate my youthful enthusiasm. Apparently, “LET’S PLAY!” at full speed isn’t quite as exciting when you’re enjoying your retirement years. So, I’d probably do best in a home without senior dogs. I’m still very puppy-like and would love a family that appreciates my energy, or maybe even a younger dog who thinks playing is as much fun as I do.

I’m potty trained with just a few occasional exceptions, I sit on command, and I have perfected a very special skill —I dance for my food. Dinner AND a show. You’re welcome!

Underneath all that puppy energy, I’m just a big lovebug. When playtime is over, my favorite thing is snuggling up with my people. Give me a cozy spot next to you, and I’m one happy boy.

I’ve had a bit of a rough beginning, but I’m ready for the good stuff now — playtime, adventures, proper food, lots of snuggles, and a family of my very own.
