Meet Kobe and Harley!

Kobe and Harley are a bonded pair of Cavaliers who came to rescue after their previous owner could no longer care for them. These two are absolute sweethearts who love everyone they meet. Just look at them and their tails start wagging! They are happiest when they are cuddled up next to their people, and would happily spend all day snuggling.

Both Kobe and Harley are friendly, happy and well-behaved. They both get along wonderfully with people and other dogs.

They are housetrained, know basic commands and quickly learned how to use a dog door. They are comfortable being crated together when their people are away or overnight, and never make a peep. But they would LOVE to sleep in bed with you. Since they have had no accidents, they likely would be fine out of their crate in their forever home.

Both are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and recently had dental cleanings and extractions. They are also beginning to discover the joys of toys and chew bones now that their dental issues have been addressed.

Meet Kobe!

Kobe is a six-year-old Tricolor boy who is 100% guaranteed to melt your heart!

Kobe is incredibly calm, affectionate and gentle. He absolutely adores people, other dogs and his sister Harley. He is truly a gentle giant!

Kobe loves mealtime more than anything. His biggest challenge right now is his weight. He has already lost more than two pounds, but is still significantly overweight at 43 pounds. His forever family will need to continue helping him lose weight gradually.

Kobe takes a daily joint supplement for his hips and knees, and happily gobbles it up like a treat.

Kobe enjoys walks and is good on a leash, but he tires quickly and does best with shorter walks and breaks. He especially enjoys walking with Harley because he loves following his sister.

He can manage short flights of stairs, but would do best in a home without long staircases while he works on losing weight.

Kobe is also an excellent napper and a very loud snorer! Of course it only adds to his charm.

Meet Harley!

Harley is a lovable seven-year-old Black and Tan girl who weighs 21.5 pounds. She is an absolute professional cuddler, and would happily spend her days curled up next to you or sitting on your lap. She loves following her people around the house so she can claim her spot the moment they sit down.

Harley is more active than her brother and loves going for walks. She gets incredibly excited when she sees her leash! She can be a little vocal and reactive on walks. She may bark at cars, bicyclists, people, and critters, but her foster family is working with her to help her feel more comfortable.

She is also a little watchdog when someone comes to the door, but once visitors come inside, she is friendly and welcoming.

Harley has a low-grade heart murmur, but does not currently require medication. This should continue to be monitored by a cardiologist.

Harley only has seven teeth remaining following her recent dental. Her foster family softens her kibble with warm water and salt-free chicken stock to make eating easier.

Kobe and Harley are truly a joy to have around. They have adjusted beautifully to their foster home and are loving, affectionate, calm and incredibly easy to adore. Their forever family will be very lucky to have this sweet pair.
