Help Honey Get the Surgery She Needs!

Meet Honey, a sweet foster girl who needs your help. Honey is only one year old, and unfortunately, she has a serious spinal condition called Atlantoaxial Subluxation that requires a very expensive surgery.

Honey has instability between her first and second vertebrae in her neck. Because of this, her C2 vertebra can press dangerously into her spinal cord with certain movements, causing her extreme pain. Without surgery to stabilize her spine, her condition will deteriorate and have catastrophic consequences.

This painful condition may have been caused by trauma in her previous life that never healed properly. We may never know exactly what Honey went through before she came to us, but we do know one thing: she deserves a future filled with love, adventures, and no pain.

If you’ve ever met Honey, you know she is so much more than her diagnosis. She is a fun and loving young dog with a BIG personality and absolutely no concept of personal space.

It breaks our hearts to know that something so serious is threatening her future when she should be enjoying all the wonderful things life has to offer. We want to give Honey the chance to run, play, cuddle, and live the happy, pain-free life every dog deserves. But we can’t do it alone. Please help us give Honey her happily ever after and spread the word to others if you can.
