Andy in Castro Valley, CA
Hi there! I’m Andy, a movie star handsome, black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I am everything people love about a young Cavalier: happy, affectionate, playful, and always ready for my next adventure. I’m still very much a puppy, I love toys, racing around the yard and wrestling with my foster sister, then curling up in your lap for a nap. I was born on March 1, 2025 and now I’m looking for a forever home.

When Andy first arrived in rescue, he was very shy and skittish, unsure of the world around him, loud noises and sudden movements frightened him. After just one month in foster care, his transformation has been incredible. As his confidence has grown, so has his curiosity. He’s beginning to explore his surroundings, investigate new things, and show his playful, inquisitive personality. He now seeks out belly rubs, happily accepts kisses, and has discovered that being close to his people is one of life’s greatest joys.

Andy will thrive with an active family, especially one committed to taking him on walks and continuing his training. He will enjoy having a playful canine partner that can show him the ropes of family life. Andy is very good on a leash and his house training is excellent, he consistently uses the dog door in his foster home. He wants to be wherever you are and happily follows his family from room to room. He currently sleeps quietly in a crate but dreams of sleeping on the big bed.

Andy is heart and overall healthy, he was microchipped, neutered and updated on vaccines and preventatives while in foster care.

If you’re looking for a young Cavalier with a playful spirit, a loyal heart, and enough personality to keep you smiling every day, Andy may be the perfect addition to your family. Give him exercise, a little guidance, and a lot of love and he’ll reward you with a lifetime of laughter, companionship, and unconditional devotion.
