Meet Archie & Frankie! Some dogs come as a package deal, and Archie and Frankie are the very definition of that. These two best friends share a special bond and are looking for a family happy to open their hearts and home to both of them. They came in to rescue after their owner realized their current lifestyle was not providing them the attention and care they deserved. They have spent their lives together, find comfort in each other, and truly thrive as a team. 

Archie is a handsome 7-year-old Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. No, that is not a toupee, it is his real fur, which sets him apart from most other dogs! Gentle, loyal, and mild-mannered, Archie enjoys leisurely walks, exploring the backyard, carrying his favorite tennis ball around the house (even falling asleep with it), and taking plenty of cozy naps. He loves being near his people but isn’t demanding. He’s perfectly content relaxing nearby while keeping an eye on the action. Archie has a sweet, steady personality that makes him an easy companion.

At 28 lbs, Archie is currently carrying a few extra pounds and would benefit from a family committed to helping him slim down through proper diet and regular exercise. Daily walks and an active routine will help him get back to a healthier weight while enjoying quality time with his people. He is almost there on house training, so that’s a plus.

Frankie, his 2-year-old,  12 lb, Apricot Miniature Poodle brother, brings the fun and enthusiasm to the duo. Frankie has the typical regal bearing of a poodle. He is smart, perky, and absolutely loves to cuddle. He likes to lead the walks around the neighborhood, enjoys spending time outside, playing ball, and will be a delightful and affectionate companion to whoever adopts this pair. With a little attention and training, Frankie will be a superstar! Frankie is working on his house training so will need help from his new family on that. 

Together, these boys are the perfect balance. Archie provides the calm, Frankie provides the spark, and both provide endless love. Whether they’re exploring the yard, going for neighborhood walks, riding in the car, or settling in for an evening on the couch, they are happiest when they’re together. A home with a securely fenced yard would be preferred so the boys can safely enjoy time outdoors, but even more important is a family committed to providing regular walks and daily exercise. They love getting out and about with their people and will thrive in a home that makes them part of the daily routine.

Since entering rescue, both boys have received veterinary care and clean bills of health. They are both on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Archie is neutered, has no detectable heart murmur, is current on his vaccinations, and will have a dental cleaning and be microchipped before adoption. Frankie is also neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
