Archie in North Georgia

Archie is a beautiful black and tan male Cavalier. He is 2 years old (born 01/16/2024) and weighs 22 pounds. Archie was an owner surrender that came in with itchy skin that had caused hair loss and a hot spot, but his coat is returning beautifully! Archie is up to date on vaccines, neutered and is heart clear. On top of all that, he is a totally sweet boy!

Archie is full of energy loves running with his foster siblings, wading in the creek and stealing his foster dads’ shoes! Archie is a typical Cavalier and loves to cuddle in his foster dad’s lap. He’s a little spoiled and loves sleeping propped up on the bed pillows. Archie is a snorer and snores loudly!

He gets along with other dogs and has learned to respect cats in the foster home! Older children with knowledge and the understanding of dog behaviors would be perfect for Archie.

Archie LOVES FOOD! He has a healthy appetite. He sits on request, but gets very excited and is still learning to wait his turn when treats are being handed out!

We are currently working on house training. If kept on a schedule, Archie has few accidents in the home.

Archie will be best suited in a home with someone home all the time to maintain his routine, with pup siblings with his same energy! A fenced in yard is required for Archie.
