Meet Aubrey! She is a healthy, 4-year-old female Ruby Cavalier with the sweetest soul and the most loving heart. This 23-pound beautiful girl is spayed, microchipped, recently had a dental, and is up-to-date on vaccines. Apart from needing to lose a little weight, which is a work in progress, she is in great health — ready to start her new chapter with a forever family of her own.

True to her Cavalier nature, Aubrey is a world-class snuggler. She absolutely loves to cuddle up close, soak in affection, and give plenty of sweet kisses. She’s a happy, gentle, and loving girl who thrives on companionship.

Aubrey gets along beautifully with dogs, kids, and adults alike. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out and exploring with her people. Her calm, affectionate temperament makes her a wonderful addition to many types of homes.

Aubrey came to rescue from a commercial breeding facility, so she’s still learning some of the basics of life in a home. She is currently working on potty training and is doing wonderfully! Given the challenging Northeast winter weather, she is pad trained but will reliably go to the bathroom when taken outside or out for a walk. With a little patience and consistency, she’ll continue to blossom. She’s not super keen on the crate. As a typical Cavalier, she would most prefer to lounge on the couch or in bed. 

Aubrey would do best in a home with someone home during the day. She has shared a foster home with another resident dog, but she would be fine as an only dog as she is most interested in her people. She is not cat tested.
