Meet Bailey, a gentle and loving little lady learning to trust the world. 

Looking for a soft, snuggly companion with a heart full of love? Bailey is a sweet approximately 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. This lovely pup came to rescue from a commercial breeder. While her exact birthday is unknown, what we do know is that Bailey is a truly special girl who deserves a family of her own.

Bailey is a gentle and affectionate pup who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap and soaking up all the love she can get. She can be a bit timid at first, especially in new environments, but with time, patience, and reassurance, her sweet personality begins to shine through. Once she feels safe, she becomes a devoted little companion who just wants to be close to her people.

She is fully house trained when kept on a regular schedule and has done very well with consistent trips outside. Bailey is also comfortable in a crate, though she would much prefer to spend her time near her humans whenever possible.

Bailey would do well with another calm older canine companion in the home to help her feel more secure but she does not like younger rambunctious dogs. She can be a bit protective of her food, so mealtimes should be managed separately. She is still getting used to walking on a leash and will need continued patience and encouragement, but she is making progress. Bailey does great in the car and seems to enjoy the ride. Younger children can sometimes startle her or scare her but she would do well with teenagers or adult children. Her ideal home would be one where someone is around most of the day to provide companionship and help her continue to build confidence.

Since coming into rescue, Bailey is up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, and recently had her teeth cleaned. Bailey weighs 14 pounds. She is a healthy girl and ready for her next chapter.

Bailey would thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands she may need time to adjust and blossom. With love, consistency, and a little confidence building, she will reward her family with endless affection and loyalty.
