Introducing Biscuit, a spunky nine-year-old Ruby gentleman with a zest for life and an endless supply of love to give.

Biscuit came to us after being left with a neighbor when his owners never returned home. Though he experienced some neglect, he arrived as a goofy, joyful boy who was immediately hungry for affection and human connection.

Biscuit’s favorite place is wherever his person happens to be. He thrives on companionship, and will happily be your loyal best friend for life. Belly rubs are his love language, and he will take every opportunity to curl up in your lap or snuggle close by.

Mornings and evenings are the highlights of Biscuit’s day. He eagerly awaits breakfast, dinner, and, of course, his midday snacks that bring him bursts of happiness. After meals, Biscuit is content simply being near his humans, settling comfortably wherever he finds himself welcome.

Biscuit is fully blind in his left eye and has limited vision in his right. He also has dry eyes that require daily drops. Despite his vision limitations, Biscuit doesn’t let it slow him down one bit, as he navigates his environment confidently and happily. Other than that, Biscuit is in good health, up to date on all vaccinations, and is microchipped. He arrived with dry skin that has significantly improved and continues to benefit from a special shampoo, though he may still be a bit flaky at times.

He is mostly potty trained, with the occasional accident. At night, Biscuit sleeps soundly on the bed, cuddled as close as possible to his chosen human.

Biscuit would thrive in a home with a secure yard and a family who is home most of the time to enjoy bonding and companionship with him.

He may playfully mouth if a toy isn’t nearby, so a home without young children is recommended.

He generally gets along with other dogs but can become reactive if growled at, so he would do best either as an only pet or with calm, non-dominant dogs.

Biscuit is ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish his sweet spirit, share in his daily routines and return the unconditional love he so freely gives.
