Brandy in Franklin, TN

Sweet, little Brandy is just a love! She is a 4-month-old, Blenheim, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who came into rescue after being relinquished by a breeder. She was born 12-21-2023, weighs 10.7 pounds and loves her food!

Brandy loves her people too, and wants to keep them in sight. When they leave the room, she will let out a short bark as if to say, “Wait!” Then she will promptly jump off whatever cushy piece of furniture she is on and come trailing behind you. Brandy is up for any adventure, as long as she is by your side!

Brandy enjoys walks and lazy days watching local heron by the pond. She likes to sniff and explore her environment. She also likes to fall asleep on the porch on cool springs days after a morning helping in the garden.

Brandy is a good little girl who rides wonderfully in the car. She is doing great on her leash skills, but does still pull at times.

Brandy is still working on her potty training skills. Having the opportunity to go out every couple hours to establish that habit will be important. She will come along well in both areas with continued work.

Brandy is bright and will thrive in puppy classes, which will be required as a part of her adoption. Brandy has shown some resource guarding, and thus will be adopted to an adult-only home.

Brandy loves her belly rubs, and will fall into a deep sleep when stroked gently. She also loves baby blankets! She likes to be covered with one when she falls asleep, and her foster mom does indulge her by tucking her into bed. She is such a cute little puppy!

Brandy will also need a spay at the appropriate time. She has two inguinal hernias which will need to be repaired at the time of her spay if they do not resolve beforehand. Brandy is up-to-date on shots and preventatives. Overall, she is in great health!
