Buddy in Red Wing, MN

Are you looking for your best Buddy? Well here is Buddy, a 3-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a handsome tricolor coat and an easygoing, affectionate personality. He’s the kind of dog who wins people of all ages over quickly! Buddy loves to visit his foster mom’s mother in the care center and visit with all age folks. He might be a candidate for a therapy dog! Whether it’s playtime in the yard or curling up for some attention, Buddy thrives on being part of the family.

He has a bit of a unique stride due to an old puppy injury that left one leg slightly shorter than the others, but it doesn’t slow him down or dampen his spirit. Buddy gets around just fine and is always ready for a walk, something that would help him shed a little extra weight and stay in great shape. Buddy weighs 25 lbs and the vet says he needs to lose 3-5 lbs.

Buddy prefers the comfort of being near his people over being confined, so he’s not a fan of crates. He’d do best in a home where he can enjoy companionship, gentle exercise, and plenty of love. Buddy, like most dogs, enjoys his zoomies at night, and when all done, he will happily trot off to bed and sweetly snore. Buddy does not need a fenced yard as he walks well on his leash and harness. 

All in all, Buddy is a sweet, resilient little dog with a big heart and lots of joy to give.
