Hi, I’m Charlotte and I’m looking for a family to love and care for me forever but most importantly, to play ball with me! I’m a 5 year old Ruby Cavalier girl who came to rescue because my owner had health issues and couldn’t take care of me anymore. They loved me and taught me good manners and my foster mom says I’m beautiful and super sweet. Did I tell you that I am really good at playing fetch with my favorite ball? 

I’m pretty easy going and get along well with my 3 foster Cavalier siblings. I love human companionship too and get attached to my people quickly, especially if you will play ball with me. My foster mom says I’m the perfect Cavalier, fun, spirited, adoring and well behaved. I’ve had very few accidents in my foster home and really like the doggie door to go outside. I haven’t been on a leash much, so I don’t know if I’m a good walker but I’m great at running and catching the ball. Did I tell you how much I love playing fetch?

I’m also a good snuggler especially if my ball is close by. At night, my foster mom lets me sleep in her big bed with the other dogs but before I go to sleep, she puts my ball on the dresser and says, “night, night” where I’ll stare at it for awhile before laying down. I can also go into a crate and will be okay if I have my ball with me.  My foster mom feeds me in the crate but I’m okay left alone uncrated too. I like to go for car rides.

My health is great and my weight (22 lbs.), is good for my size.  I’m up to date on all my shots, spayed and preventatives for heartworm and fleas. I’ve even got a microchip and have a clean bill of health. I think I’m just about perfect!  

My ideal forever family should have a fenced in yard so I can run and play ball in the safety of my own home. Another dog would be nice but it’s not necessary and gentle children fine, especially if they like to throw a ball for me! I’ll bring the ball right back to you so you can throw it again and again. Then, we can cuddle up on the couch. I’m easy to please but prefer someone to be home most of the day to keep me company and of course, to play ball.  

Do you think I’m a bit ball obsessed? Really, I’m just the most adorable, love bug and will make you smile every day if you like to play and want a very fun pup in your life.
