Charlotte Rose in Cherry Hill, NJ

Say “hello” to Charlotte Rose, or Charlotte for short. She is an adorable three-year-old female Blenheim Cavalier who came into rescue from a very loving home where the owner’s health and living situation changed.

Charlotte is very social, and loves to greet anyone while on a walk, at a store, or any other place where she encounters new people. In her foster home, she has truly enjoyed being part of the pack with the two resident Cavaliers.

Charlotte gets along well with her foster dog sisters and humans as well; both adults and children. She is not shy, and has greeted all visitors at her foster home with excitement and enthusiasm.

Charlotte enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash and loves car rides. What she loves most, however, is going on adventures with her family where she can run and explore parks, fields, and trails.

Charlotte loves to be near her humans most of all, and will cuddle up with you on the couch or lay on the floor next to you. She absolutely loves pillows and will choose her favorite one to lay on, even if it’s one you are actively using.

Charlotte came into foster care weighing 23.8 pounds, which is slightly overweight for her frame, but she has already lost more than two pounds while being fed a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise. Her ideal family will be one who can continue her weight loss journey towards her perfect weight of 17–18 pounds.

Charlotte is very active and walks one to three miles a day with her foster sisters, which has enabled her to make progress towards a healthy weight.

Charlotte knows some basic commands such as “come,” “sit,” and “stay.” She is fully housebroken, and will alert you when she needs to go outside by standing near the door.

Charlotte sleeps in her dog bed, however she would much prefer sleeping in the big bed with her family. She loves being near her humans and dog family at all times, so don’t be surprised if she figures out how to get on the bed on her own.

Charlotte gets along with other dogs, adults and children of all ages. She has not, however, been tested with cats.

Charlotte has had a dental x-ray and cleaning with no extractions. She is up-to-date on all her vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
