Chaz in Issaquah, WA

Meet Chaz, a loyal, smart, and very handsome 4-year-old Black and Tan boy who is ready to join his forever family on their adventures! Very much the typical Cavalier, Chaz wants to be with his people and enjoys close physical contact, so he will need someone who is at home most of the time.

Chaz is also intelligent. He learns routines and expectations quickly and eagerly. While he will happily curl up with his person for a snuggle and a nap, to feel his best long term, Chaz would be happiest as part of an active family who will seek interaction with him, initiate games or training, take him on walks, and provide a fenced in yard for him to explore and play fetch. He will joyfully reciprocate gentle interaction with others including mature children and other small, respectful dogs.

As far as housetraining, Chaz is well trained and will prompt you to let him out to potty outside of his routine times if he needs. As is somewhat common with Cavaliers, Chaz has exhibited some signs of separation anxiety, so his forever family should be committed to using an intentional, consistent approach to address it. Overall, Chaz is an extremely sweet and smart, devoted companion with so much joy and love to give his forever family.

Chaz recently had a dental cleaning and is up to date on his core vaccines and preventatives. The vet did note that it would be ideal if Chaz lost a couple of pounds, with his goal weight around 22-23 pounds. Otherwise, he is in excellent health and is ready for a lifetime of love and adventure with a wonderful forever family.
