Cooper in Little Rock, AR

Meet the sweetest little gentleman you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing — a 7-year-old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart as beautiful as his soft chestnut-and-white coat.

This charming boy is the definition of calm and gentle. He has a laid-back temperament that makes him the perfect companion for a quieter home. Whether you’re reading a book, watching TV, or working from home, he’s happiest curled up beside you — or better yet, in your lap. Being a devoted lapdog is truly his life’s calling, and he takes the job very seriously.

He is completely housetrained and kennel trained, making him an easy addition to his forever family. He understands routines and settles in beautifully. He’s wonderful with other dogs and would do well with a canine companion, though he’d also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only pup. He is not a fan of cats, however, and would do best in a cat-free home.

Cooper absolutely loves food.  Mealtime is his favorite event of the day and he’s very food motivated, which makes him responsive and eager to please. He also has a mischievous streak when it comes to squirrels — spotting one will light up his world! Because of his enthusiastic squirrel patrol duties, a securely fenced yard is a must to keep him safe.

This sweet boy has hip dysplasia and previously had luxating patellas repaired in both knees. Despite this, he gets around just fine and handles his daily activities like a champ. He may not be your marathon training partner, but he’ll happily join you for leisurely strolls and then settle in for snuggles afterward. Mostly, he just wants to be near his people.

What truly sets him apart is his gentle, loving nature. He bonds deeply and looks at you with soulful eyes that say, “Thank you for loving me.” He’s the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, content just knowing he belongs.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, low-key companion who will fill your home with warmth and sweetness, this precious Cavalier may be your perfect match. He’s ready to spend his life loving — and being loved — in a forever home.
