Here is Daisy with her new family…

Meet Daisy from Memphis: When you see Daisy running around the yard, you’d never believe she’s 6 years old. She looks like a puppy and acts like a puppy, but shhhhh – don’t tell her she’s NOT a puppy! Some girls are young-at-heart, and Daisy is perfect proof of that! 

Young or old, people or dogs – Daisy loves her friends and she continues to make new ones. Daisy will grab everyones attention if you bring her with you to the local coffee shop or restaurant. When someone new arrives at the house, she’ll try to jump up to make sure they don’t miss her! Above all, Daisy loves her people and wants nothing more than to live her new life alongside someone who’ll enjoy her company as much as she’ll enjoy theirs. 

Daisy is a 20-pound Black and Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was released from a breeder in February. She’s done a wonderful job transitioning to living the spoiled life. Daisy is in excellent health – while in rescue she’s been microchipped, spayed, had a full dental and has been brought up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. Everything went smoothly so now she’s ready to meet and join her lucky forever family. 

Daisy answers when her name is called and is eager to please. She likes to be pampered and enjoys all the attention when getting a bath. She’s very loving and if you let her, she’ll get right up into the chair with you and settle in for a quick nap. If she can’t have your lap, she’ll happily cuddle up with her foster sisters in their bed. Daisy loves to follow in your footsteps and always keeps an eye on you. She’s very curious about what’s going on inside and out, but rarely barks. She’s learned about stairs, eating from a bowl, and continues to improve in her potty training. 

When Daisy is outside, she enjoys sitting in the sun or exploring the grass and flowers in the yard. She’s comfortable around her two foster sisters as well as children, but hasn’t been exposed to kids under 4 or to cats. Daisy’s leash skills are a work in progress, so she would do best being in a home with a fenced yard.
