Della in Tulsa, OK

Hello, hello! Thank you for visiting me! My name is Della and I was born 06/10/2024, so I’m just a little over a year old. I was given up by a breeder with my other Ruby Cavalier buddies in July. I am happy to be here in Oklahoma with my foster daddy. I have a sweet, loving and velcro personality. Where he goes, I go. I love cuddling, sleeping on his lap, going to the lake, riding in the car, and just being close by him all the time. I enjoy our daily walks around the block and I’m now up to 3/8 of a mile with him. We stop and I get to meet all the kids and big people daddy introduces me to. I’m kind to the children and they tickle my chin and pet my ears. Daddy shows them how to massage my neck, and oooooooh do I love it. So do the kids! Daddy thinks I was named after a famous singer because when I’m alone I sing the blues like a baying hound : a woo woo a woo, woooo woo a woo!

I warm up to other new pups once I get to know them. I will let those that are nosey know with a deep growl that I don’t like them being too nosey. I have a variety of chewy toys I enjoy. Daddy has taught me to fetch my sock, monkey, ginger bread man, and even golf balls. I play right before bed and it helps me sleep better.

I sleep on my blankets on a couch during the day. At night I sleep in a corner of his room next to foster dad’s bed. I tend to wander so he puts up a screen to keep me safe and secure. I will let him know if I have to go out to potty. I have a pen to sleep in if daddy is gone for more than 3 hours to avoid accidents. I let him know when I really really have to go, so other times he takes me out every 3 hours or so and says GET BUSY! I eat my meals at 7:30 am and 4:00 pm that keeps me consistent with get busy!

I have all my vaccinations, heart worm prevention, rabies , and a chip etc. I no longer have my baby making machine too. I am now rid of some parasites in my tummy and took medicine for those to get rid of them. My heart is happy and beats smoothly all the time, my teeth are pearly white, and my coat is clean, smooth and shiny. I have the floppy sock (Grinch) paws, the chaps and the signature flag tail. I love a warm bath, with shampoo and a massage. People who meet me say I’m beautiful, gorgeous, Oh My! Not sure what it means, but I know I like them. Good Girl!
