Dixie in Tulsa, OK

Dixie is a sweet 2 -year- old Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel born June 2024. She has a gentle soul and a heart full of love.  She is happiest sitting on your lap staring at you!  She wants her people nearby!

Dixie is looking for a home that will allow her on the furniture, sleep right next to you and someone that works from home or retired. She gets scared easily before she chooses her person. Once she chooses you, she is your shadow. Coming from a puppy mill, she is still a little skittish with men but is slowly starting to trust.  She loves playing tug of war, going for walks, and fetching balls! She is housetrained and easily figured out a doggie door!

The perfect home would be an only dog, or the same size she is. She likes other dogs, but prefers all the attention. She doesn’t mind chickens, not sure about cats, but based on her personality, I think she would be fine! She likes children, although it does take her a while to warm up.  

She is spayed, up to date on shots, on heartworm, flea and tick prevention, and microchipped. She has been diagnosed with a mild heart murmur, but has no symptoms and medication is not recommended. 

Dixie was adopted to someone from our applicant list and wasn’t posted as available for adoption. We’re happy she got a loving home!
