Here is the pup with her new family…

Meet Fancy aka “Fancy Pants”… Fancy is a 7-year-old Cavalier, born 2.17.2017 and didn’t have the greatest start in life. She came to Cavalier Rescue USA via another rescue organization and is a retired breeding dog. She is ready for the life she was meant to lead. Fancy is a sweet, gentle pup with lots of love to give.

In her foster home she resides with 3 other Cavaliers, a cat, a 10 year old busy boy, a dad, and a mom. She gets along great with everyone with the occasional cat chase. In the beginning she was a little overwhelmed with attention from the other pups, but quickly she realized they were her friends and is comfortable in her surroundings. Fancy would be ok with another friendly dog in her forever home but she would also be ok being the only pup if she gets lots of attention.

Fancy is 99.9% house trained, with very few accidents. She will walk on a leash now but is still a little hesitant and nervous and will need some further training in her new forever home. She is also crate trained and hasn’t had any accidents in her kennel. Fancy loves to snuggle with her humans and other furry friends on the sofa and in bed. Fancy is known to be a velcro pup and always wants to be with you.

She is the occasional sock or stuffed animal thief. She seems to like squeaky dog toys and one time she brought the toy to her foster mom, so we think she could be easily trained for a little fetch. Fancy loves to run around with the other pups in the physically fenced in yard.

Fancy has been fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, has had a dental, and is microchipped. She’s a very healthy gal.

Fancy is a great pup and her foster family has no doubt that she will make her forever family very happy. She is looking for a home where someone is home most of the day with a physically fenced in yard. She would benefit from a forever family who can take her on walks to burn off her energy. She will be a great addition to the right family and love them with all her heart.
