Finnegan in Houston, TX

Meet our sweetheart, Finnegan! Finnegan came into rescue after his mom sadly passed away. Fortunately, she had left instructions on who to contact if help was needed. Finn is 7-years old and a little larger than most Cavaliers, weighing in at a sturdy 27 lbs.  

Finnegan is one of the nicest Cavaliers we have ever fostered! He is a happy, laidback boy. He enjoys poking around outside and finding a stick to chew on. He is not demanding, and he doesn’t jump up on the furniture or bed. He’s content sleeping near you and enjoys the cool floor. He has the run of the house but chooses to sleep in his crate sometimes. Finn has a couple of jobs around the house, 1) he’s a good fly chaser, and 2) he acts as usher to be sure everyone has exited the TV room at bedtime. 

Finn is good for the vet and groomer. His coat is heavy, and he requires regular grooming. He loves everyone:  men, women, kids. He’s good with other dogs but unknown with cats. He rides nicely in the car and walks well on leash. He is a lower energy dog. with a chilled personality. He sits nicely for his treat and comes when called. 

Finnegan has been loved and well cared for! He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is heartworm negative. Finn has a level 4/6 heart murmur and requires medication. He has some seasonal allergies that may also require meds.
