Finnegan in Pearland, TX

Finnegan is a handsome 8-year-old Tricolor Cavalier who believes life is best lived with a full belly, a soft bed, and someone to cuddle with. And honestly, he may have a point!

This sweet boy is an absolute professional snuggler, especially at bedtime. Finnegan would love sleeping with his people and will happily curl up beside you for some nighttime cuddles. He’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he knows his people are nearby.

Finnegan is also an easygoing guy when it comes to the important stuff. He is housebroken, uses a dog door, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and loves having canine friends around. In fact, Finnegan needs another dog companion in his forever home. He truly enjoys having a furry buddy by his side. He also loves to chew on Benebone Wishbone’s.

And then there’s food.  Finnegan LOVES to eat; he will need to be kept on a regular feeding schedule to keep his weight in check which is better on his health and heart. He is currently 25 lbs and it would be beneficial for him to lose a couple pounds.

Finnegan does have a B2, grade 5 heart murmur and takes Vetmedin. He recently had a full workup, and his forever family will need to be committed to keeping up with his veterinary care and monitoring his heart as recommended by his veterinarian. Due to his heart murmur it’s recommended he doesn’t have strenuous exercise.

He also loves being groomed and seems to genuinely enjoy the attention and pampering. This is one Cavalier who knows how to appreciate the finer things in life!

Because Finnegan is a sensitive, low-key gentleman, he is looking for a quiet, calm home without a lot of chaos. We feel a home with no children under 16 would be the best fit for him. He doesn’t need a busy household; he needs someone who will appreciate his gentle nature, give him time to settle in, and let him enjoy the peaceful Cavalier life he deserves.

Finnegan would love to be your little shadow, curl up beside you at night, enjoy his doggy friend, get pampered, and live his best Cavalier life.
