Georgie in Flower Mound, TX

Georgie is the sweetest Blenheim boy, just four-years-old (birthday 4/12/2021), with the gentlest expression and a joyful spirit that melts hearts wherever he goes. He is truly one of the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet and happily greets everyone he encounters with a wagging tail and happy energy.

Georgie came to rescue when his previous family, who loved him dearly, could no longer give him the time and attention he deserved due to demanding work schedules. Now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can share all the love he has to give.

This happy little guy enjoys walks and car rides, but his favorite place is right next to his people — especially curled up in your lap for cuddles. He loves spending time in the backyard chasing squirrels and exploring, and he’s happiest simply being with his humans. Georgie is a devoted companion who will follow you from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing. He knows the commands sit, stay, and come.

Georgie weighs 17.6 pounds and maintains a healthy weight. We are told he has a sensitive stomach but has done well with us when keeping the same food his prior owner used. He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and is on heartworm preventatives. He has a perfect heart and fully potty trained. He does have grade 4 bilateral luxating patella’s with associated arthritis. The vet says with his current mobility and lack of apparent pain she does not recommend surgery at this time.  Down the road he may need medical management and could need a surgery at a future date if it worsens.

Georgie is friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with other small dogs. He would thrive in a loving home where someone is around most of the day to keep him company. He sleeps well in his crate at night once settled in. A securely fenced yard is important for his safety and enjoyment, along with a family ready to shower him with attention and affection.
