Henry in Enid, OK

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Henry with his new family…

Henry is a 9-year-old male Cavalier that was released by his owner’s family after health issues prevented him from caring for him. He is a bit overweight and has lost a few pounds with his foster since he arrived. Henry is a calm, sweet and loyal boy who will follow his person everywhere.

Henry was seen by a vet and brought up to date on vaccines, had a dental and lost 6 teeth, and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. He is healthy with strong knees and heart. He is neutered. He also has a microchip.

Henry enjoys respectful children and will run after a squeaky toy when thrown. He loves riding in the car to pick up the kids from school and is starting to walk in the neighborhood for exercise. His favorite place is on the couch, or next to his person. He has always slept on the big bed with his owner and insisted on that now. Apart from a little snoring, he doesn’t move all night.

Henry is house and crate trained. He will go in the crate when left alone periodically and when strangers (like repairmen) enter. He is protective of his person and will bark at new people. Otherwise, he is very sweet, gentle and loving. He is fine with other dogs but has been an only dog all of his life.  He prefers a quiet routine as the only dog.

We have a qualified applicant who has fallen in love with Henry and he has been adopted.
