Honey Bear in Houston, TX

Honey Bear is as sweet as he sounds! He came into rescue when his owner sadly passed away. Honey Bear was very upset, but his heart is healing thanks to Cavalier Rescue USA. This stunning boy is 8-years old and has an amazing coat that requires regular grooming.  

Honey Bear is in good health and has no audible heart murmur. He weighs He is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. He weighs 23 lbs.

Honey Bear gets along with other dogs, but would probably be happiest as an only dog where he can be the center of attention. He will guard his food from other dogs, so he is crated at mealtime. He is rather independent, but loves his people. He is quite a talker when he gets excited.  He’s not a barker, but sounds more like Chewbaca!  

Honey Bear knows sit and come and is completely housetrained. He is allowed on the furniture, but usually chooses to be on the floor or in his crate. He enjoys snuggling with you in bed, then usually jumps down afterwards. He takes his time exploring the backyard and is a lower energy dog. He’s good on leash, well behaved in the car and good for the vet and groomer. 

Honey Bear would be a great companion for an older person who wants to hang out with their buddy. Would that be you?
