Jack in Middletown, PA
Meet Jack- a sweet 9 year old boy born 5/19/17 who came into rescue after his owner passed away. Clearly Jack was very loved in his prior home. He follows his foster mom everywhere around the house. He likes to keep someone in sight all the time, so someone that is home most of the time would be the best fit for him.

The vet says for his age he is in really good health. There is no heart murmur at this time. He is up to date with his vaccines. While foster care he had a dental cleaning and he did lose a few teeth. At 28 lbs, Jack is a bigger boy and could lose a few pounds. He does like his treats, but they should be given in moderation.

Jack lets you know that he has to go to potty by barking. He gets along with other dogs, but does not like cats. However, he would be fine as an only dog as well.

Jack loves people. He is especially fond of the little girl that lives next door and is always looking for her when we go out with him. He sleeps in his foster mom’s room at night. Some times on the bed but most of the time on the floor. He does play fetch sometimes but not for long period of time. He is happiest to sit on the couch next to you and be petted.

Jack loves to go outside. He is often barking to go outside just to be out in the sunshine. For that reason we feel that he would do better if he was able to spend time outside in a securely fenced yard.

If you think that you would be a good fit for this sweet older gentleman, please make sure you have a current application in file and reach out via email to Melissa MacMullin (cavalierrescueusapa@gmail.com) and asked to be considered to adopt Jack.
