King in Houston, TX

Yes, he is majestic! King is a beautiful Blenheim boy who is 9-years old (dob 12-11-2016). King came into rescue because his owners knew he needed more time and attention than they could provide. He has been very loved and well cared for.

King is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has no audible heart murmur. He has some allergies, and he is hearing impaired. King has been taught hand signals and knows Sit and Stay. Precautions for owning a deaf dog include never going off leash unless they are in a completely enclosed area, using caution on walks, consider a GPS tracker and collar marked “Deaf Dog”. You should avoid startling a deaf dog, especially when sleeping. Make sure he is aware when you are leaving to minimize anxiety and keep him on a regular routine. Another canine companion in the home would be helpful so he can follow their lead. 

This pup is extremely sweet and loving! King loves to snuggle with his people and is good with kids. King gets along with other dogs and cats, but birds beware! He is well behaved in the car, at the vet and for the groomer. King loves to play with toys and can entertain himself. He prefers to sleep with you and will bark if crated. He can be food obsessed so you will need to keep people food out of his reach and keep him on a healthy diet.
