Lacy in Tulsa, OK

Say hello to Lacy from Tulsa, Oklahoma! Lacy is a stunning 6-year-old tricolor Cavalier who once worked as a breeder but has since blossomed in the care of her foster family.

At first, she was a bit shy, but she quickly grew attached to her foster mom. After a vet visit, she was spayed, had a dental (only one tooth lost!), and was treated for ear infections. One ear drum had a small tear, but now her ears are sparkling clean! Lacy weighs 17 pounds and is in great health with no heart issues, a solid structure, and a heart full of love!

Lacy is the ultimate Velcro dog. She’s a supermodel of companionship, always sticking close to her foster mom’s side. She loves joining her foster brother and sister outside but is always the first to come back inside. Fully house trained, she uses the dog door like a champ, with zero accidents. She really enjoys the other Cavaliers and follows them outside to run.

Toys aren’t really her thing, but she has a funny habit of shredding paper she finds around the house. She’s picked up great manners and is learning to wait calmly by doors. She’s a natural little watch dog and will bark at dogs on TV or outside, though she warms up to visitors once they sit down and say hello. She has improved with her shyness and is more accepting of new people in her environment.

Lacy is microchipped and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She’s a fantastic eater, always polite at mealtimes, and adores ear rubs and gentle brushing. Though she didn’t know leashes before, she’s learning to walk on one and improving every day.

Lacy is a true joy. She’s grateful, alert, and completely devoted to being with her person. She’ll curl up in her special couch spot right next to you, just waiting for cuddles, and she’d love a home where she can sleep by your side.
