Meet Levi! Both Bundle of Energy and Lap Dog

Born March 25, 2024, Levi is everything people love about a young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: happy, affectionate, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s proudly carrying a favorite toy, racing around the yard with joyful zoomies, or curling up in your lap for a nap, Levi lives life with enthusiasm and a heart full of love.

Levi would thrive with an active family, especially one committed to taking him on walks and for play. He loves fetch, squeaky balls, tug-of-war, exploring the yard, and then settling in close to his people. He will curl up in your lap if you are working at your computer or enjoying down-time on the sofa. He wants to be wherever you are and happily follows his family from room to room.

Like many young Cavaliers, Levi is still learning about the world. New people, visitors, the doorbell or other loud sounds, grooming, and unfamiliar noises can all make him bark. He also jumps on people, making a family with older children a better match. With patient guidance, consistency, and maturity, he should continue building confidence. His vocal nature and exuberance are simply part of his youthful excitement—not a lack of affection. He is eager to please and responds well to positive attention. He graduated from an obedience class and would benefit from reinforcing training.

Levi is mostly house-trained with only occasional accidents at his previous home in an apartment. While in foster care, he has joined his pack to use a doggy door to go outside for his needs. A securely fenced yard will give him the safe space he needs to burn off his young pup energy before coming inside to become the cuddly companion he truly is. He is also crate-trained, often visiting his crate with the door open during the day for a safe space to chill. He happily spends the night in his crate, where he will rearrange his blankets until they are “just right.” He is good with dogs and cats.

Levi is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.
