Looking for a gentle soul with a heart full of love? Meet Lily, a beautiful black and tan Cavalier born on July 24, 2024 who’s as sweet as she is shy. Recently rescued from a commercial breeding situation, Lily is discovering the joys of being a cherished companion and she’s ready to find a family who will help her blossom.

Lily may be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and loving nature shines through. She’s a classic Velcro pup who loves to be close to her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day to give her the reassurance and cuddles she craves. Lily is also a playful girl with a happy, wagging tail—she adores romping around with her foster sister, Ruby, and has shown she’s wonderfully patient and kind with children.

Lily was spayed while in rescue and brought up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. At just under a year old, Lily is full of youthful energy but also knows how to settle in for a good snuggle session. She does great on car rides and even walks on a leash fairly well. 

She’s currently working hard on her potty training. She does really well during the day with regular outdoor breaks but is still mastering nighttime crate training, so her forever family will need to continue helping her build confidence and consistency.

Lily’s ideal home would be one filled with love, patience, and plenty of companionship. A family who understands that she’s still learning how wonderful life can be will be rewarded with endless loyalty and affection. Lily would do best with a canine sibling in the home, as she would never be truly alone even when her owner has to leave the home.

With her gentle spirit, playful energy, and loving heart, Lily is ready to brighten someone’s life. Watching her grow more confident each day is truly a joy, and she’s eager to find a forever family who will continue to nurture her.
