Meet Loki! Loki is a happy, sweet 7-year old male Black & Tan Cavalier born 03/30/2018. He came to Cavalier Rescue USA when his family no longer had the time needed for him.

Loki is a true snuggle bug and devoted to his people. His favorite things in life are people, car rides, food and walks in that exact order. He approaches all activities with enthusiasm and will spin and bark with excitement. When home he wants to be on your lap and if you’re heading out the door, he wants to go too! Loki loves to go with you wherever you go and rides well in a car. For the times he can’t come with you he will need another friendly dog at home to keep him company.

He has some separation anxiety so someone home most of the day is a must. Loki does not like being crated but this is not an issue since he is completely reliable being left free in the house. He prefers to sleep in the big bed with his people.

Loki is deaf but you would rarely notice it. He watches you intently for ques on what’s going on and responds to hand signals for sit, down and stay. He has a very good stay on the rare occasion he has to be left home. He will cry a bit when left behind but will settle down with his fellow dog companion counting the seconds until you get home.

Loki loves all people and would be best with older children at home. A secure fenced yard is a must! On walks, Loki is friendly to all the dogs he meets. He has not been tested in his foster home with cats but is said to be ok with them.

Medically, Loki’s Vet has noted he is a very healthy boy! Loki is microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. He will have a dental completed before he goes to his new family.

Loki will make an ideal companion for a quiet household happy to include him in all their activities and another easy going dog at home.
