Martha in Portsmouth, RI

Meet Martha, a beautiful Black and Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! Martha is approximately three years old and full of life!

Healthy, energetic, and endlessly curious, Martha is a playful young dog with plenty of affection to share with the right family.

Martha is currently enjoying life with her foster family, where she has settled in nicely alongside three resident Cavaliers. She interacts well with her canine companions and enjoys being part of the household.

One of her favorite activities is chasing tennis balls! She loves running after them and proudly carrying them around once she catches them. Whether exploring her surroundings or playing fetch, Martha brings youthful enthusiasm and fun to everyday life.

Martha is in excellent health and has no known medical issues. She has undergone spay surgery and a thorough veterinary evaluation, including an assessment for health conditions commonly associated with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She is also house-trained and crate-trained, which should help ease her transition into a new home.

Martha would do well with a family that appreciates an active, curious young dog and understands the importance of giving her time to adjust to new surroundings. Her positive interactions with her foster family’s three Cavaliers suggest that she could be a wonderful addition to a home with other friendly dogs.

Martha can be cautious when meeting new people and prefers to get acquainted at her own pace. A quiet, adult-only home without frequent visitors would be ideal. Once she knows and trusts you, she enjoys attention and being part of the family. Watching her confidence grow is one of the special rewards of getting to know this sweet girl.

Martha is ready for a loving forever home where she can continue to build confidence, enjoy life’s adventures, and share her affection with a family of her own. Could Martha be the playful, loving companion you’ve been looking for?
