Morgan in Red Wing, MN
Morgan is a beautiful Blenheim Cavalier lady who is 6 years young and ready to enjoy her next chapter as a beloved family companion! After spending her earlier years being a mama, this retired breeding mama is ready to be spoiled, cherished, and shown all the comforts of being someone’s special girl.

Morgan has a sweet, quiet demeanor and is a laid-back kind of lady. She enjoys the simple things in life, especially her stuffies, a cozy place to relax, and a good meal (she’s a great eater!). She is fostered with another cavalier who is a nice companion for her. He is available too if interested in adopting both.

She’s accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night, but we have a feeling she’d be absolutely delighted to upgrade to a spot in her human’s bed! After all, every girl deserves a little extra pampering.

A fenced backyard would be ideal for Morgan. She’s not particularly fond of walking on a leash, so a traditional leash walk isn’t going to be part of her daily routine. Her future family should be prepared to take her outside for potty breaks in a secure, fenced area rather than relying on walks. She will need someone willing to accompany her outdoors, give her time to do her business, and make sure she is safely supervised before coming back inside. A little patience and consistency will help her settle into her new routine.

Morgan is ready to trade her mama duties for a life filled with soft beds, favorite stuffies, full food bowls, and humans who adore her. She will require patience as she takes a little time to warm up to her new family. She prefers to be the side kick of a lady but men in the home will be tolerated. They just will be ignored most of the time.

She will be happiest with someone home much of the day but is okay to be left alone for short time. Morgan would be also be fine with a quiet dog buddy. She is currently fostered with another Cavalier who could be adopted with Morgan as they get along wonderfully. Morgan is okay with children but calm, older would be best as to not startle her.

Morgan has been spayed, dental done with a few extractions, and a recent echo where the vet indicated her murmur was so quiet he could barely hear it. No medicine needed at this time. She is current on her heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
