Peach in Buffalo, NY

Peach is a loving and lovable three-year-old looking for her forever family.

Peach was in a puppy mill until adopted at the end of February of 2026, however her adoptive family quickly realized they did not have the time to care for her properly. They truly wanted the best for this sweet little girl.

Peach was surrendered to rescue in April, and is looking forward to finding a loving home with lots of time to devote to her.

Peach has symptomatic SM (Syringomyelia) requiring medication. Peach is also recovering from a neck abscess caused by her constant scratching. She also had diarrhea, likely due to either stress or medication.

At the suggestion of a canine neurologist, Peach has switched medications. Additionally, her food was switched to one a for sensitive stomach. She is responding well to both changes. It is likely that she may need less medication over time.

Peach has completed an introductory Nosework class, which is basically hide-and-seek for food. This has greatly improved her self-confidence and patience. Peach excels at waiting her turn. She loves the attention! Some continued activity would be beneficial to further enhance her confidence.

Peach loves exploring outside in the fenced yard. She runs and plays constantly with her foster sibs.

Peach is fascinated by birds, rabbits and squirrels. She comes when called. She learned very quickly where to go in and out of the backyard through the back door.

Peach is one smart cookie. She would benefit from a confident canine companion in her forever home.

Peach sleeps on a dog bed or in a crate all night without issue. She stays in a gated room when the foster Mom is gone for brief periods. She gets a treat when left at home.

She rides well in the car, either in a crate or with a doggie seatbelt.

When not exploring the backyard, she can be found cuddling with her canine foster sibs or her human. She is very loyal to her person and canine foster siblings.
