Remi in Queens, NY

Meet Remi! This adorable pup was born 10/30/2025, so is about 6.5 months old. Remi is a healthy, handsome tricolor pup who is looking for a new start. He came into rescue through no fault of his own and is ready for a new start. He is incredibly sweet and knows exactly how to charm everyone he meets.

Remi is a smart young guy who loves to keep busy. He’s looking for an active family that will keep him mentally and physically stimulated. He picks up tricks fast, loves a good pile of toys, and lives for the “zoomies” and galloping around the house. More than anything, he loves being around people and is always down for a good cuddle. He currently resides in his foster family’s apartment and gets three walks a day (including one long 40-minute walk). He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is a total pro on public transit (buses, trains, and taxis). He shares his foster home with a 10-year-old dog whom he respects completely. He’d do awesome in a home with a canine sibling!

This pup is almost fully house-trained with just a few accidents here and there. He knows how to use pee pads, though his aim is still a work in progress. He is a healthy boy and weighs 9 lbs.

Remi’s ideal match is an active family that can spend plenty of time with him and understands the structure and routine that a growing pup needs. A home with a yard to burn off his puppy energy would be amazing, but it’s not a dealbreaker if he gets enough outdoor time.

Remi is very attached to his humans and currently gets anxious when left alone, which leads to barking and crying. Because of this, an apartment with close neighbors would be difficult unless someone is home most of the time. He currently struggles with crate training. Since he’s still so young, this is definitely behavior that can be managed with time, training, and dedication. Remi’s forever family must be dedicated to helping him through his anxiety.

Remi is a sweet, smart, and fun-loving dog with a ton of affection to give. If you’re ready to give him a chance, you’re going to get a loyal, incredibly entertaining companion for life.
