Riley in Washougal, WA

Meet Riley – The Lovable Little Shadow. Riley is a sweet, silly little gentleman who’s ready to bring joy to a lucky home, whether that’s a cozy apartment in the city or a sprawling farm in the country. Riley is just looking for someone to love!

Riley is a 10-month-old neutered male with a clean bill of health. He’s up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, and he weighs about 20 pounds. Riley was surrendered to rescue by no fault of his own, but rather because his owners realized a puppy was not a good fit for their situation.

This pup is the perfect mix of polite and playful. He’s crate trained, potty trained, doggie door trained, knows how to sit, and comes when called (especially if you’re holding a treat!). He’s currently working on his leash manners. He starts out a bit exuberant but then settles in for a stroll. He’s getting better with each daily walk.

Riley loves everyone, dogs, cats, kids and guests. He’s on the submissive side and has a gentle, kind personality that makes him a great fit for just about any household. He’s affectionate with both men and women and always happy to be part of whatever you’re doing. He prefers to sleep with his head on your pillow, but he’s also a perfect gentleman in his crate. He eats like a champ (in his crate, twice a day like clockwork), and he gets adorably excited when you pull out the brush.

Riley’s favorite place in the world is wherever you are. This velvety-eared lovebug is ready to be your constant companion. If you’re looking for a loyal and sweet best friend, Riley is your guy.
