Sherman in Savage, MD

Sherman is excited to live the life he’s been dreaming of! This pup is a snuggly and curious tricolor pup born 11/30/24 that is looking forward to being in his forever home. Sherman came into Cavalier Rescue USA after being released by a breeder. He is figuring out who he is and what this big world is all about.

Sherman is learning how to “dog” by following the lead of his foster brothers and he is still working on learning basic commands. Sherman is very loving and enjoys being snuggled and held. When he’s not velcroed to his person, he is testing what toys are all about and speed racing in the back yard. While he does enjoy walks, Sherman will need a family that is dedicated to leash training and reassurance.

He has adapted to house training very well and with consistent outside breaks, he hasn’t had any accidents.

Sherman will need a puppy experienced household and family that is willing to continue working with him to make him feel more comfortable in this world. He will do best with someone home much of the time and a fenced in yard.

This pup is the epitome of a velcro dog, a bit timid, and wants to be consistently with his person and dog companion for reassurance. Sherman is goofy and likes to show off what a puppy he is and will benefit from enrichment and play.

Currently Sherman lives with two pup foster brothers and really enjoys snuggling with them and leaning on them for guidance. Sherman is crate trained for overnight sleeping and has been doing well left alone for short periods of time. Sherman is a joyful, loving, and incredibly sweet Cavalier and he’s ready to live the spoiled life that he deserves!
