Sir Duncan (of Hines) Jenks, OK

Duncan here. Thank you for visiting my site! I am a posh 4-year-old tricolor male. My human parents got me when I was five months old and have taken wonderful loving care of me since then. Their health has changed and they felt it would be better for me to find a great new home. As my name states, Foster daddy thinks I was born and fed in a cake mix factory due to my “size”. I am like a big cinnamon roll: sweet and all around warm. Ok, yes, I agree with daddy, at 33 lbs I do need to lose some weight. He has me on a diet, and walks me around the neighborhood daily, I’m up to 1/2 mile in the hilly part of Tulsa. I don’t tug on the leash, just keep in step with him politely.

I was trained at a puppy school in Edmond Oklahoma, to sit, stop, stay, lay, and go when it’s time for bed. I love snuggling on your lap, having you scratch my head, and lay on my back and get my tummy rubbed. I enjoy playing ball, but I will tend to keep it away from you and you get to fetch it for me. I’m not into chewy toys or socks so I’m safe by myself. I’m gentle with kids but tend to get excited when meeting big people. Foster dad is working with me to not jump up on guests.

I went to the vet and had a great report on my overall health. I am up to date on all vaccines and on preventative medication for heartworm and fleas/ticks. I had a “cherry eye” repaired in my right eye, and my teeth were cleaned. I am so handsome now! I am neutered and have a microchip to find me if I get lost. I get a monthly allergy shot and will need an eye drop in my right eye for dry eye for the rest of my life. I have a sensitive spot on my back when I’m picked up. They took an Xray of it and everything looked fine. I will still hop up and down from the couch!

I love to be combed and brushed, hugged and kissed. I sleep on a couch, floor, your lap, or on my pillow. But, at night all I desire is a big blanket on the floor next to your bed. Point me to it and say “it’s bed time!” And I will circle down like an order of curly fries in a combo meal and you won’t hear from me until you wake up the next morning. Just walk me to the back door and I’ll do my morning routine. I am totally house trained and a true gentleman.
