Meet Skipper – Your New Best Friend! 

Skipper is a charming 4½-year-old tricolor Cavalier gentleman who is ready to melt your heart. He came to rescue after his owner had to move and could no longer keep him, and now he’s looking for his forever family.

Skipper is as sweet as they come—loyal, affectionate, and wonderfully easy-going. He loves nothing more than jumping into a warm lap for a cozy nap (and if one lap isn’t available, he’ll happily move to another!). He’s gentle, kind, and always eager to please, making him a perfect fit for a loving home.

This handsome boy enjoys his daily walk, dinnertime (of course!) and romping around with toys—especially if there’s a fuzzy one to shake or a chuck-it-ball game to play. He’s also a curious explorer and will happily sniff around outside to see what’s going on in the world.

Skipper does best with companionship. If left home alone, he may bark to let you know he’s not thrilled, but when you return, he’ll greet you with happy tail wags and joyful barks that show just how much he loves you. He gets along well with other dogs, is especially fond of men, and quickly warms up after a shy first few days. We’re not sure yet how he does with cats or young children.

He’s a healthy boy, up to date on vaccinations, and weighs 29 pounds.

Skipper would thrive in a home with low alone hours, plenty of love, and a fenced yard where he can explore and play safely. He’s a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving buddy.
