Spaghetti in Ypsilanti, MI

Here is the pup with his new family…

Are you ready for an outgoing, happy, tricolor boy? Spaghetti (we’ve been calling him Frankie) is a playful, funny, 3-year-old commercial breeder release who is ready to be loved and give love. 

Frankie spends the day sitting near his foster mom (who works from home) and hanging out with the other Cavaliers in his foster home. He enjoys playing fetch and exploring in the fenced yard at his foster home and going on walks in the neighborhood. But Frankie’s absolute most favorite thing in the world to do is snuggle. If he could somehow figure out a way to crawl into his people’s skin through their belly button he would. He wants to be THAT close to his people. 

This handsome fellow (he’s mostly black with huge bushy brown eyebrows) is still very much a puppy, if not in age, in learning. Frankie likes to chew on things he shouldn’t and is still working on his potty training as well as leash walking. He does well on the leash, but gets distracted easily. He has been wearing a belly band in the house just in case the urge to lift his leg may happen. He was recently neutered, so we are hoping the urge to potty inside subsides. Frankie does have an iron bladder and can easily hold it all night long. His fur-ever family will need to take him outdoors often during the day to improve his house manners. 

Frankie would benefit from some basic training classes, not because he is poorly behaved but because he has the potential to become a great family dog with some positive guidance. He does like to sleep in the big bed with his foster family but has no issues being crated when his foster family is out and about.

He gets along great with his 2 Cavalier foster siblings as well as the cats in his foster home. He would do well in a home with another young, small dog or as a single dog. He is generally a happy-go-lucky fella. He recently went on a Cavalier meet-up and did well meeting new people and new Cavaliers. 

Frankie is up-to-date on his vaccinations, has been microchipped and neutered.
