Stella in Suffolk, VA

Stella is a sweet little 8-year-old Black & Tan Cavalier lady who found herself in rescue through no fault of her own. She was picked up after answering a local shelter’s call.

Stella is very well behaved and an absolute sweetheart. She would definitely be in the running for the Worlds Best Snuggler award! She loves to be in your lap and cozy under blankets when she can. 

She has had a dental cleaning, been spayed, is microchipped and has no current health issues. Upon intake she had a significant skin issue but it has since cleared up. Her foster mom notes that having a garment on helps keep the itchies at bay. Foster mom suspects the cause is nerves/stress.

Stella does well on a leash and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. She loves to eat and will express her excitement when meal time arrives. Stella will be happiest with a family with someone home with her during the day. However, she is able to be free in the home when left alone.
