Meet Weezy, a handsome little two-and-a-half-year-old Ruby Cavalier with a unique name and an even bigger personality!

Weezy comes from Louisiana, where he lived before making his way into his foster home in Mississippi.

Weezy’s original owner had a busy household that wasn’t the right fit for him. Weezy is now ready to find the loving forever home that he deserves.

Since joining rescue, Weezy has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion. He has been house-trained and has discovered a love for playing fetch, which is one of his favorite activities.

Smart, loving, and eager to please, Weezy is always ready for his next adventure. But he’s equally happy curling up in a lap or resting on someone’s chest for a nap.

He generally sleeps through the night and wakes up ready to make the most of each day.

Weezy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, but he would especially enjoy having a gentle, playful canine companion close to his own size so that he does not get bored.

While he has not been tested with cats, his easygoing temperament suggests that he may do well with them too.

He loves having a big selection of toys and will happily entertain himself by tossing them into the air and chasing after them when the other Cavaliers in his foster home aren’t interested in play time.

Because Weezy loves running, exploring, and spending time outdoors, a securely fenced yard is a must.

If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow, Weezy is your boy.

Weezy forms deep bonds with his people and loves being close to them at all times. He will follow you from room to room and may whimper briefly when you leave because he simply wants to stay near the ones he loves.

Weezy would thrive in a home where he can enjoy frequent human companionship.

Weezy is a happy and healthy boy and is ready to become your best friend.

He had a dental and was neutered after coming into rescue. He is current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
