Meet Wrigley – A Sweet Senior with a Whole Lot of Heart

Wrigley may be 11 years young, but don’t let that number fool you—this charming little gentleman still has plenty of spunk left in him! He recently came into rescue after his beloved mom passed away and his dad was no longer able to care for him. While his world changed overnight, Wrigley has handled it with the same sweet, easygoing spirit that makes everyone who meets him fall instantly in love.

Wrigley is the definition of a friendly companion. He gets along wonderfully with the other pups in his foster home and greets every person he meets like they’re an old friend. His gentle, affectionate personality makes him an absolute joy to have around.

This handsome boy has been well cared for. He is neutered, microchipped, and recently had a dental. Wrigley does have a very slight heart murmur and is deaf, but neither slows him down one bit. In fact, he has adapted beautifully—he simply watches for visual cues from his people and carries on with life as happy as can be.

One of Wrigley’s most endearing habits is his bedtime routine. He has slept in his kennel since he was a puppy and absolutely loves it. During the day you’ll often find him happily napping there with the door open. At night, all you have to do is point to the kennel and he trots right in like the good boy he is and waits for his treat.

Wrigley is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness, cozy naps, and people who appreciate what a special little soul he is. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will greet you with warmth and sweetness every single day, Wrigley might just be your perfect match.  Sometimes the best treasures come with a little gray on their face – and Wrigley is proof of that.
